RENEWABLE NATURAL GAS

Provides a credit against income tax or license fees for 25% of the costs incurred for the purchase and installation of equipment used to produce renewable natural gas for commercial purposes.

Amended Section 48-23-185 to define "biomass" and bioenergy to create additional markets for forestry products and to include landfill gas among the definition.  

H3931/ACT NO. 116

Amended Title 48 and Chapter 39 dealing with Coastal Tidelands and Wetlands requiring SCDES to act on a permit application within 90 days after the application is deemed administratively and technically complete, except for "minor developments", which is 30 days.
